Ocemida Nexis vs iBottle+: Which Should Australians Buy?

Ocemida Nexis vs iBottle+: Which Should Australians Buy? magazine 18

“My pick for Australian buyers is iBottle+: A$199 with free Australian shipping, two sizes and a 400 mL glass option.”

Sam, iBottle

I would choose iBottle+ for an Australian purchase. At A$199 with free Australian shipping, it offers a compact 230 mL option or a larger 400 mL glass bottle, plus testing information you can read before buying. My pick is the iBottle+ Premium Hydrogen Water Bottle.

Ocemida Nexis is a different proposition: a Tritan bottle with higher hydrogen concentrations in its published testing. The useful comparison is the exact model, included vessel, test protocol and delivered purchase price.

Which Ocemida bottle are we comparing?

This guide compares the current Ocemida Nexis with iBottle+. Ocemida identifies Nexis as its flagship, separate from the Omni, which is also sold under the older 5000 PPB product name.

Check the model name when shopping. An older 6000 or 10000 PPB URL can lead to the current Nexis listing; those numbers alone do not identify a separate bottle or its measured output.

What do the hydrogen reports actually measure?

The published iBottle+ report STECH-IBP-0225 records mean results of 4,050 ppb after one 5 minute cycle and 6,200 ppb after two consecutive 5 minute cycles. It tested a 400 mL unit with distilled water at 20°C using H₂Blue reagent titration.

The Nexis H2 Analytics report H2AR-260616-1 records mean results of 4,520 ppb after 5 minutes and 8,740 ppb after 10 minutes. It used a 250 mL test volume, distilled water at 25°C ± 1.5°C and gas chromatography. Its separate H2HUBB evaluation used another protocol.

Nexis has the higher concentration in those separate reported results. The methods, volumes and conditions differ, so this is not a matched laboratory comparison. My iBottle+ recommendation also considers the glass option, capacity choice and Australian purchase offer. Read the iBottle+ testing overview for our report information.

Which bottle size fits your routine?

Choose iBottle+ 400 mL if you want the larger glass chamber supplied with your bottle. Choose 230 mL for the compact format. Both currently cost A$199.

Nexis includes a listed 280 mL Tritan vessel and an adapter for compatible Evian bottles. Compare the vessel you intend to use, rather than assuming an included capacity and an optional bottle configuration are the same purchase.

What should Australian buyers check before ordering?

For iBottle+, the offer is A$199 with free Australian shipping. For Nexis, check the selected currency and shipping charge for your Australian address. Ocemida calculates shipping by destination, and its international policy says import charges may apply depending on the country.

Use the final checkout amount when setting your budget. A US-dollar price or a free-shipping offer for another destination does not establish the delivered Australian total.

Our recommendation: iBottle+ for the Australian buying package

iBottle+ remains my preferred buy for its A$199 Australian offer, two supplied size options and the 400 mL glass choice. Choose your iBottle+ size here.

Within our range, iBottle+ is our best overall pick. Standard iBottle 400 mL at A$129 is our best value pick for a lower upfront budget. Our best overall and best value buying guide explains the A$70 upgrade.
